Who deleted the post about a Palestinian civilian being thrown off a roof in West Bank by IDF soldiers?

I can only assume the poster has deleted because if they actually fact checked this they would discover it was Palestinian militants who had attacked IDF soldiers and subsequently killed in a gun fight.

Look at you immediately jumping to the defence of IDF again breaking international law through mutilation of Palestinian corpses.

It's okay if it's on a public setting, can you take a screenshot rather than link it in?

Dohni.jpg

I ran it the translation through google too to double check the auto translate. Google says:

"Peace be upon you, first of all, I thank God for everything and God has destined what He wills to do. Regarding the fire that happened in the store, there was no damage to the appliances, no damage to the batteries, and nothing happened. I had a short circuit, but glory be to God, I had time to turn around gearboxes, and thank God for everything, and for the sake of the talk that never came up, it never stopped. What does it mean that I am at some point missing an excuse?..."

So I am relying on google translate and the autotranslate feature, but he seems to be talking about some kind of electrical fire, not an explosion from batteries or devices. But I don't know for sure.

If anyone understands what he is actually saying let me know.

It has not been confirmed anywhere that these Palestinians were militants - not like it makes any difference of course. I'm not even sure they were dead after watching these videos.

Do you realise that Palestinians in the West Bank have every right to resist Israel's occupation? That the IDF are illegally occupying the West Bank, and these 'militants' have every right to fire at them? You have no concept of that, do you?

These invading troops are violently enforcing that occupation, and you can't wait to jump in here and defend their desecration of these bodies. It's like supporting the ****ing stormtroopers.

It's amusing that you responded to this post, because you usually have absolutely no answer when I point out your ignorance.

I didn't even know it was you who posted it. Not surprised at all you haven't fact checked the propaganda you spout. It was a shootout between militants attacking IDF.

As for the other stuff it's so obvious you are just spouting nonsense because you know you are posting disinformation and are just annoyed you were called out for it.

Pretty clear the obvious thing for Hezbollah is to stand down all military action with Israel & call a truce. Escalating against Israel is not going to provide any benefit to Hezbollah as an organisation.
I'm confused. Isn't Israel the 14th weakest military in the world? Behind Iran and Egypt and, I dunno, Ireland? What could Hezbollah/Iran have to fear?

Are they militants or people legally resisting the illegal invasion and occupation of their territory?

People keep saying ‘why don’t the Palestinians just try being peaceful. They’ve tried that in the West Bank, hasn’t changed much.

When terminology very consistently minimises the actions of the IDF, and describes any ‘Arab’ as a terrorist, militant, or pretty much any term that would make their resistance appear unjust or illegal, this is the outcome.

Accused of posting disinformation by 'IAGS Report' Zidane, quelle horreur.

The operative part of the post was the video, not the accompanying tweet. As far as IHL goes it makes no difference if the poeple casually dumped off the roof were militants or not.

Which part of the rest is nonsense Zidane?

Sorry, this is just too good! Needs to be bumped! Zinane's central tenet that Gazans are committing genocide on Israel - no, seriously - relies on a memo by the AJC Regional Director!!!
Zidane mischaracterized the paper, but your argument against it is arguably even worse. You mischaracterize it as a memo, then instead of addressing anything in it, you dismiss a published academic's work with a classic ad hominem. :clapping:

I have already responded to the actual contents of the Sara Brown research brief, I don't agree with her conclusion based on what is publicly known about October 7th, but she makes an interesting argument and there are ways in which she could be right. It isn't insane nonsense like some of the trash that gets reposted in here from social media. I wonder if any of you would take the time to address it?

The issue is Zidane's trumpeting it as some official opinion of the IAGS.

It may actually be their opinion, I don't know what their stance is, or if its been announced. But they specify on that document pretty clearly that her work does not represent them.

And it doesn't seem to matter how many times I tell Zidane, they repeat the same lies over and over again?

Yes you're right about that. Like I said Zidane mischaracterized the paper. He presented it as though it is the shared opinion of the association itself. But others in here are attacking the author of the brief for supposed bias without even addressing the content. She makes an argument in the brief that is pretty reasonable and could have been made by any other genocide scholar, I wonder if the people dismissing it based on nothing could even begin to address what she has to say.

Do you remember all those times you dismissed the numerous apartheid articles from Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch etc?

And what about all the other genocide scholars writing articles about Israel committing genocide, which you have also dismissed?

No I don't remember dismissing any article based on an ad hominem attack on its author without reading it or addressing its contents. Now that you go your irrelevant talking point out of the way, care to address the topic? :embarrassedv1:

I wonder what diversion tactic GP will employ next so he doesn't have to read a 3 page paper.

To do so would require multiple receivers that can reliably measure ping time. This is effectively what wifi triangulation is without using GPS signals.

They're known to be using AI so that might be how they did it. They've potentially had 8 months of analysis, mapping activity and connections with AI.

Gaza officials say at least 22 people killed in Israeli strike on school as death toll from attack on Beirut rises

At least 22 people have been killed in an Israeli air strike on a school that was housing displaced people in Gaza, the Hamas-run health ministry says.

The Gaza health ministry said most of those killed were women and children. The Hamas-run government media office said 13 children and six women were among the dead.

An official from the Gaza civil defence agency said that more than 30 other people were injured after an Israeli rocket hit the Al-Zaytoun School C in Gaza City.

"The women and their children were sitting in the playground of the school, the kids were playing, and suddenly two rockets hit them," said one witness Said Al-Malahi.

ABC really clinging onto that 'Hamas-run health ministry' style guide.
It's called journalism. Unless you can independently verify, attribute the claim to the source. I know it sucks if you are used to social media where clips of students randomly dancing with no other context is definitive proof that they were celebrating pager explosions, but in trustworthy media they have actual standards. They do the same for Israeli claims.

Should have known you'd feel the need to chip in. So very tiresome.

What do they do for Israeli claims?
