It has not been confirmed anywhere that these Palestinians were militants - not like it makes any difference of course. I'm not even sure they were dead after watching these videos.
Do you realise that Palestinians in the West Bank have every right to resist Israel's occupation? That the IDF are illegally occupying the West Bank, and these 'militants' have every right to fire at them? You have no concept of that, do you?
These invading troops are violently enforcing that occupation, and you can't wait to jump in here and defend their desecration of these bodies. It's like supporting the ****ing stormtroopers.

I didn't even know it was you who posted it. Not surprised at all you haven't fact checked the propaganda you spout. It was a shootout between militants attacking IDF.

People keep saying ‘why don’t the Palestinians just try being peaceful. They’ve tried that in the West Bank, hasn’t changed much.
When terminology very consistently minimises the actions of the IDF, and describes any ‘Arab’ as a terrorist, militant, or pretty much any term that would make their resistance appear unjust or illegal, this is the outcome.

Zidane mischaracterized the paper, but your argument against it is arguably even worse. You mischaracterize it as a memo, then instead of addressing anything in it, you dismiss a published academic's work with a classic ad hominem.
I have already responded to the actual contents of the Sara Brown research brief, I don't agree with her conclusion based on what is publicly known about October 7th, but she makes an interesting argument and there are ways in which she could be right. It isn't insane nonsense like some of the trash that gets reposted in here from social media. I wonder if any of you would take the time to address it?

The issue is Zidane's trumpeting it as some official opinion of the IAGS.
It may actually be their opinion, I don't know what their stance is, or if its been announced. But they specify on that document pretty clearly that her work does not represent them.
And it doesn't seem to matter how many times I tell Zidane, they repeat the same lies over and over again?

Yes you're right about that. Like I said Zidane mischaracterized the paper. He presented it as though it is the shared opinion of the association itself. But others in here are attacking the author of the brief for supposed bias without even addressing the content. She makes an argument in the brief that is pretty reasonable and could have been made by any other genocide scholar, I wonder if the people dismissing it based on nothing could even begin to address what she has to say.

Gaza officials say at least 22 people killed in Israeli strike on school as death toll from attack on Beirut rises
At least 22 people have been killed in an Israeli air strike on a school that was housing displaced people in Gaza, the Hamas-run health ministry says.
The Gaza health ministry said most of those killed were women and children. The Hamas-run government media office said 13 children and six women were among the dead.
An official from the Gaza civil defence agency said that more than 30 other people were injured after an Israeli rocket hit the Al-Zaytoun School C in Gaza City.
"The women and their children were sitting in the playground of the school, the kids were playing, and suddenly two rockets hit them," said one witness Said Al-Malahi.

It's called journalism. Unless you can independently verify, attribute the claim to the source. I know it sucks if you are used to social media where clips of students randomly dancing with no other context is definitive proof that they were celebrating pager explosions, but in trustworthy media they have actual standards. They do the same for Israeli claims.
