Ok guys so at the moment im arguing with a mate and we were arguing over who is better at the moment Ward or Hurley just asking for Your thoughts?

Both are hard at it and highly skilled....but Hurley has the height and i would love to have him in Bulldogs colours. Hurley for me!!
Considering where they are in their careers you'd have to say Hurley. He is a ready made KPB or KPF where he only played 10 games due to injury. He showed promise as a very solid backman but also impressed as a forward later in the season. This kid will be a star.

Hurley. Would rather have him than Rich in fact. But very happy we have Ward.

Ward is a better player at the moment. Has an extra year on Hurley, holds his spot all year in a top four team,is hard at it and can influence games.
Who would we pick or which player do we need more, or which player has the most upside, might get different answers.
Ward - he is a younger clone of Joel Selwood...

Ward has the right attitude/skill combo in a similar mold to the Joel Selwood but where they are different is Ward takes the ball away from the pack bursting through tackles while Selwood will dish out a handball to a mate. Ward style will win him a brownlow in the mold of hard contested/pack bursting/goal kicking running machine ala Judd.

The ward kiddie at the moment. Hurley will be good though, and as bully bully stated he's a Willy High School kid 'Hold Fast" no contest OK my girl's went and still go there a bit bias

im already accustomed to liking ward so ill obviously choose him with bias reasons.
if we didnt draft him id pick Hurley ahead of rich, ward or anyone else. Ive watched all his games except for the 4 goal one where every idiot blew their load over and from what i saw he will be something special ala Chris Grant.

At the moment it is no contest. Ward by the length of the straight. In 4 years time I doubt it will be the same but at the moment Ward is the better player.

Thats nothing special, i can even do that. Ward smashes people all the time, and wins the hard ball.
Best thing about Ward is that there is no suggestion that he will be out of place in the heat of battle of a PF - pretty good for his second year.

Ward is the most underated player in the finals series. No one really realises how damaging he can really be. His a fantastic kick on both feet, tough as stone, can kick a couple of goals a game, and takes the game on as well as most veterans do.
Love him... Hurley is a result of the media, will still be a star though.
