How was it?
Interesting to see Midnight Oil and Silverchair performing again

listened to it throughout the day on jjj and the finn bros certainly stole the show. sheer brilliance. silverchair and powderfinger were as ordinary as ever. the oils sounded more than decent after such a long layoff. anyone got a figure as to how much they raised for the relief effort?

I went. It was one of the best gigs I've been to in years. The crowd was just pumped all day, except for Kasey Chambers. The only bad thing was the extreme wait for drinks (45 minutes min) and the heat.

The Finn brothers were excellent, as were Powderfinger, Pete Murray and of course Silverchair.

$60 well spent. The DVD is coming out in a few weeks apparently, just in case anyone didn't watch the highlights on foxtel.

They said (before Silverchair I think) that they raised over 2 million. I assume they didn't include merchandise sales (I spent at least 60 bucks on a shirt and cap), but they would have raised quite a bit on that, then all the upcoming DVD sales.
