By Mike Sheahan

Wayne Carey has declared an interest in returning to the AFL in a coaching role.

"You always listen," the North Melbourne said after watching the Kangaroos train on Saturday afternoon.

"I'm always there to talk, and see what may occur after that."

Interviewed at a club function on Saturday night, he said: "I think I do have something to offer. Whether I want to do that yet, I'm not sure."

Asked if he were available, he said: "Denis (Pagan) always said it didn't matter if it's Snowy off the tram, you always listen.

"That's available?"

Carey: "That's available."

It's an interesting concept. I'm still pretty divided on whether or not i'd want him back at the club. No doubt he was an amazing player, but his shortcomings as a man are what leave me with concerns, especially considering that so much of coaching these days is about the development and guidance of the young kids on the list.

Hello, new desktop wallpaper.

Although, not keen on Waynes choice of tie.

One of these boys is not like the others.

Has Brent Harvey suddenly grown or is B Scott a 2 foot midget?

Apparently there was a crate that all bar Scotty and Drew are standing on. And it is Barry Davis - all three premiership captains, plus our next premiership coach and captain.

I'm coming around to the idea of Duck as a specialist coach or maybe even forwards coach. If, as he says, he commits 100% to the task, then it starts to become an attractive proposition. I have seen him speak publicly twice this year and I am convinced that he is a changed person. He will not lead any of our youngsters astray, that much is certain.

Surely, Scott is seating down on this photo. FFS.
:)

I have a teammate who i honestly believe would an unbelieable pick up for any club Im trying to think about the best possible way to get him to north. He is 22, super quick, super tough and won the MPNFL league Best and Fairest last year at 21 and is just as big a chance to take it out again - i believe collingwood have spoken to him but i need to somehow let north know about him. Chris Irving is his name.

Why isn't he playing in a real league?
