Wayne is a product of his upbringing. The problem was he was blessed with good looks and an ability to do something better than the average Joe. Unfortunately, what he wasn't born with was too many brains. I think deep down he's probably a good bloke who didn't set out to hurt anyone. But the trouble is when you lead a life where people continually make excuses for your pitfalls, you start to depend on it. He'll always be welcome at North, and to some extent I think that's where he needs to be.I played in a charity cricket match with the Duck a few years back, he was kind of shy really. He was very keen to be involved and help out a good cause. Played the game in good spirit [even when the guy from big brother hit him back over his head and over the stand for one of the biggest sixes I have ever seen], had a couple of beers after the game and he went home. His misdemeanors are well documented but good luck to him if he can patch things up with North. He remains the best player I have ever seen.
