Another disappointing final from Gardner, since the T20 WC final in the West Indies where she was player of the final, she has hardly scored in run and has at least three ducks, and today she gave away 30 runs from her three overs. She may have been player of the tournament, but she was the flop of the final, and you would almost consider dropping her from the next final.

She is t the only one maybe blame the so called Aus captain

Did say strikers were the worst draw

Healy generally plays her best game in a final, this is the first time I can remember where she has failed, I can't say that about Gardner, she fails consistently in finals.

Gardner had a good season but bowling sides win championships

It must sting Sixers list manager Lisa Sthalekar to do the presentation when her side has lost the final after clearly being the best team all season. Congratulations Moonwatcher and other Strikers supporters. Deandra Dottin a worthy player of the match recipient.
I love that my spamming the thread eventually paid off with a mention :O

Strikers were always a better bowling side
You need to watch more Super commercials, "past performance is not indicative of future results".

The Sixers bowlers, including Bolton, bowled well enough to keep the Strikers to a score of around 125-135, but Gardner crumbled with bowl in hand conceding four runs an over more than during the rest of the tournament.

Watching the replay. The first innings must have been frustrating to watch for Strikers fans.

140 was about right probably a little under but Strikers bowling makes 140 seem like 160.
