WBBL is bringing more games to the big Stadiums this season. But its a terrible look for the comp when it looks like empty stands when the camera pans out to those seats. You would think there is about 5-10% of the crowd there.

The WBBL tried to bring this concept of 'Big Stadiums' given the growing brand and building up the momentum from previous seasons. They have fixtured planned out for all of the big stadiums: MCG, SCG, Adelaide Oval and GABBA.
Its a bit like soccer, playing in front of empty crowds /empty atmosphere not a great look.
WBBL relies on TV revenue especially from Asian markets in particular India.
Interesting, the highest scorer in the first innings of the first match automatically gets the golden cap. Imagine if the Strikers did a WA and the highest score was like 3.

Adelaide Oval field looks quick once it gets past the inner ring. Adelaide probably left a good 20-25 runs out there here.
A run a ball. If anyone can put the squeeze on it's the Strikers women. Jonassen and Knott you'd think are good enough to get it done though.
