Pretty much. They've always been perceived as the most stacked team but they've not done much of note since winning 2 and losing 2 of the first 4 WBBL finals. I feel like teams were beaten before the game started against the Sixers in the early years. That all changed when the Heat beat them in 2019 final at Drummoyne Oval. The other sides have well and truly caught up. The Heat and Strikers are all about getting the job done instaed of the bling and the glamour of the Sixers.

Reminds me a bit of the comparison between the Stars & Renegades

The team in green was always the team pumped up, they were seen as the team from the right part of Melbourne and for the more affluent type is crowd etc

The Renegades were the battlers, here to support their bigger brother/sister type thing

I have no doubt that us winning a BBL title before the Stars was never in the plans and there's still a lot to play out in the WBBL this season - but pretty sure finishing at the bottom end of the ladder the couple of seasons was seen as our place compared with being at the pointy end of it

She should never have dropped that catch.

Im not sold the Brisbane coach, has got this batting order right.

Surely if your going to have a look at chasing this down in 13.3 overs needed to rejig that order and look to shut down shop if 3-4 wickets fell.

I would have gone: G Harris, L Harris , Rodrigues and Jemimah. The batting order they have put out suggests to me they didnt get that right.

Kerr on a hattrick. Now Brisbane priorities possibly change.

They've got 6.3 overs to score the remaining 83 runs

Matthews & Dottin scored 80 in 5.1 overs, but they had both faced a few balls at the time & are known to be able to smack the ball

Does this pairing have the ability to accelerate to that level or did they miss a trick not elevating Harris to give them a slight chance at chasing it down
