Im not sure if Adelaide are mathematically out of the Top 4 race yet. Are they?

What happens if they win their next 3 and all results go their way? Looking at that tbale and fixtures, I dont think they are officially eliminated as of yet.

If they lose to Brisbane next game yes. Need to win every game from now

I heard it mentioned during that likes coverage that it was Wyatt's last match for Hobart

Not sure if they mentioned anything about the SA players though

SA players are going too- was Wolvaart's last one. Only reason I ask is Lizelle Lee is SA.

Im pretty sure she has retired from international cricket. She didnt play any part of the last T20 World Cup in UAE this year.

In fact, i think if memory serves me correct , she is treated as a 'local player'.

She was sort of criticised if i stand to be corrected from Cricket South Africa for not being 'fit' or having acceptable standards of fitness. She retired in 2022.

By jeez , she is making them eat their words now.

Like I said before, the T20 format allows the body sort of her in 2 types 1) batting sloggers and 2) Spinners.

There you go was an honest question I didn’t know. Surely you play her over Wolvaart on form

Lee retired in 2022 & then Dané van Niekerk retired ahead of the 2023 T20 World Cup, with both decisions made in regards to "fitness" standards

The comment for van Niekerk exclusion from the T20 WCsquad was failure "to meet the minimum criteria for fitness." - she was returning from a broken ankle and missed the 2km time trial limit by approx 10 seconds but it was the quickest she had run that distance & fittest she had been

For Lee it seemed to more so come down to her weight because she has talked about meeting the running requirements but not weight requirements prior to her retirement - and a key reason she opted to retire essentially immediately was so she could play franchise cricket with fear that Cricket SA wouldn't provide a 'no objection certificate' until she met their fitness requirements

For anyone interested, this is an article & interview from Lee following her retirement
