And here's the problem with lacking back-up batting options, trying to get smart with Hayward opening & Capsey failing (yet) again - we're 3 wickets down heading into the 5th over, Wareham has come in as we're clearly trying to hold Dottin back until the second half of the innings but Wareham herself really shouldn't be in before the 14th/15th over either
When it all goes right with our batting like it did against the Strikers, we look like we can beat anyone
But on other nights we fail spectacularly, like we did against Perth
Our squad balance really needs addressing - honestly, we should be looking at youngsters in other WBBL teams who may be stuck down the order behind experienced senior players and show we can offer a guaranteed top 3 batting spot
Thunder did that with Voll who was stuck down the order at Brisbane, it's exactly what we need to

May as well go for the review, given she has been the most form batsman on the Renegades.

Has Dottin always struggled against spin?
Against Perth & now tonight, she's got out to spin when she went conservative and was almost playing defensively
When she's been playing in an attacking manner, she rarely looks like getting out

This is really reminding me of the match against Perth the other week - we were going ok from a run rate perspective, but kept losing wickets and then went ultra conservative over the closing overs
Just need a partnership to steady things and then build at the end of the innings

Yep its her one weakness for sure. She much prefers pace on then spin thats for sure. Can whack the spinners if she gets on a role and playing on a road though.
