It's not match by any means, but great to see Coyte finding some form with the ball after struggling earlier in the season

Earlier in the season she was going for about 12+ an over and not taking wickets

It's only been this week she's returned to being a wicket taker

But the other problem is we have too many bloody bowlers & all-rounders in the team and not sure we know how to balance them

Wow if you went to the MCG today, and got the opportunity to watch a whole days play on those games, you got good value for your money.

And the Gades are in the Top 2 after today. The big encounter you imagine will be against Thunder possibly to decide Top spot and hosting rights of Grand Final.

Was definitely worth the trip to watch both matches

674 runs scored across 4 innings, with both matches still alive going into the 19th over of their respective second innings - in one match the batting team held their nerve, and in the other it was the experience of Coyte who got the job done


And as a Gades fan, if you told me after we lost our opening two games that 6 games later we've put ourselves in a strong position to not just play finals but finish top 2, not sure I would have believed you

But damn happy to be here

There is a scenario if Renegades win 2 games (against Thunder and their other game), and Thunder win 2 games....that Thunder could still finish first.

Adelaide v Hobart tomorrow. Thunder and Gades will be hoping for a favour from Adelaide. A Hobart win really should mean we have a clear and cut Top 3- just a matter of order.

Talk about an over zealous security guard - post match I made my way around to the Olympic Stand to try and add a few autographs to my Renegades flag

Waiting for a few of the players to come around, another lady was trying to get Nic Faltum's attention and she then introduced herself as Nic's mum, and she's waiting to say hi along with a few family members

Faltum finally makes her way around, and motions for a couple of the younger family members to join her on the ground for a photo - this is literally beside the fence, on the fake grass and not getting close the playing surface but a security guard decides he needs to big note himself by interfering

He questions who the kids are, mother Faltum says they're her kids while pointing to Nic, and so he then questions her if they're her kids and says to be quick as they're not permitted on the field

It was such BS and an over reaction when there was nothing wrong happening - it's not like 2 random kids jumped the fence to play cricket or something

They do it different in Sydney. I was at North Sydney Oval yesterday, the fans are allowed onto the ground, to meet the players after the game. eg get selfies, photos etc

Personally not really into that stuff, as Im an older man, older then all the girls on the field.

PS: Althought Nicole Faltum is an attractive young lady.
