Are Hobart too reliant on Lee to get them off to a good start for them to be competitive with the bat?

We know they're sitting at 4-4 this season, and when we look at Lee's efforts with the bat, she's had 5 scores under 30 (including 4 single figure scores) & they're only won one of those matches

In 3 of their 4 wins, she's scored 38, 150 & 103. They did beat the Thunder when she scored only 7, but in that match Carey scored 52 and only two Thunder players reached double figures

Game 30:

Brisbane Heat Women (Playing XI): Georgia Redmayne(w), Grace Harris, Jemimah Rodrigues, Jess Jonassen(c), Charli Knott, Laura Harris, Nadine de Klerk, Lucy Hamilton, Shikha Pandey, Grace Parsons, Nicola Hancock

Melbourne Stars Women (Playing XI): Yastika Bhatia(w), Annabel Sutherland(c), Meg Lanning, Marizanne Kapp, Tess Flintoff, Rhys McKenna, Deepti Sharma, Kim Garth, Sasha Moloney, Maisy Gibson, Sophie Day

Brisbane Heat Women have won the toss and have opted to field

Sutherland not having the best tournament

I get wanting to give the captaincy experience to a younger player, but does that work better when the team has had a level of success and not necessarily the right move when a team is going through something of a rebuild & really hasn't has success they'd want

With the likes of Lanning & Kapp in the team, do the Stars have better captaincy options?

I may be wearing my red & blue hats of the Gades & Vic here, but how close would Faltum be to leading the way of the next gen of keepers in terms of the under 30 brigade?

She's definitely getting more of a chance with the bat this season than previous seasons with the Stars, and I know she's been going on for Vic also

I know who the obvious candidates are to replace Healy in time, but looking beyond Mooney & Redmayne, would Nic be seen as a younger option to potentially bring into the Aus A & Aus system?

This question may be answered sooner rather than later. Healy has withdrew from the ODI squad for the tour of India next.

Faltum did her credentials no harm the other night.
