Where was Sutherland batting last year - was it in the top 4 or was she being used more as a closer?
I feel like she's had more success that little bit down the order, especially with late order runs - this year she's moved up the order and not sure it's really worked

From memory she was batting top 4.
Her body language has looked cooked. She has had a big 12 months or so. Since she got her big ton at the WACA , don’t think she has quite been the same player.

Maybe others were just batting better so she wasn't coming in quite as early in the innings
As you said, it's been a big 12 months for her where she's played a lot of cricket, and being asked to take on the captaincy was maybe one added piece of pressure that wasn't really needed at this stage
If she was having a really solid WBBL season we likely wouldn't be talking about the captaincy, but with her form not being the greatest then all aspects of her game start to come under the microscope
