I can't remember his username but there was some poster who was deadset certain that Woosha would be coaching us post-2013 and then when Woosh stood down the poster pretty much disappeared into the darkness of defeat.

heck we've had some campaigners here over the years.


Gunnar / Dargie / Sweet Jesus is possibly the most retentive person on the planet.

I remember Bunsen Burner for constantly losing the plot about us not tanking for extra draft picks 2008-2011 like Melbourne and that the Demons would become a powerhouse for the next decade with all their picks.

Eagle87 just hated Priddis at a disturbingly neurotic level. Maybe his mother abandoned him at an early age for a man with curly, flowing hair and that was the source of his darkness. He also had a habit of trying to portray himself as some tycoon with his business dealings in SE Asia and posting pics of "his" Thai girls.

"Alphabet" was a dumb kid who always posted stuff that was generally near-incomprehensible and then get angry when others couldn't understand his argument. He would then use aliases to back up his original point, but his terrible grammar and spelling would always give him away. Was quite funny really.

I too miss GO EAGLES. This place has been distinctly lacking in crazy, subtle angles the past year. (For those that missed out on his mastery, consider an unpredictable lunatic with unwavering optimism, likely Tourette's Syndrome, possibly autistic savantism. There was obviously something outside of the norm going on in his head and yet, however remote or intangible his posts were, they kept coming true. He became immortal here with his prediction during preseason 2011 that we would finish top 4 that year despite finishing last the year previous.)

I remember eagle87 as being a particularly arrogant guy- talked down to many a poster, myself included. Have never blocked anyone on here, however a couple of times I did consider it with him. He was just blinded in his hatred of Priddis.

However as mentioned he was also capable of some decent insights on the game which I actually respected.

Hearing these names pop up is like a reunion show.. I never actually understood why people would bother making several aliases!
