Out: Rosa / McDougall (banished to the dungeon)

In: R.Jones / Stenglein

I would have expected / hoped, that Gaspar / Graham would have been an inclusion....

Once again, we have SFA at CHF... for the life of me I can't see who in our team will fill that role?

Unless, with the forecast showers / thunderstorms tmrw night, we are going in short?

I've got a bad feeling we're about to get murdered.

What's the story? Why wouldn't Graham get a run?

Sounds like we're going in horribly under-sized.

Who has been named as emergencies?

Any chance Matera will be a late withdrawal?

Gardiner and Hansen better bloody well be right for next week. This is becoming a f*cking joke with the upbeat talk all week about players under a cloud, who are subsequently absent once teams are named.

Not impressed.

Exactly how I feel....

If Hansen is injured for 6 weeks, just say it... he's out for 4-8 weeks, what is so hard about that? Then again, not worth risking him in the wet this week.

Expected a big name player (rumours) to get the chop (and no McDougall is not a big name player), I thought it might Sampi or Seaby.

Don't know how to add links, but there it is....

No mention of emergencies....

Hadrill in / Hedland out.

Emergencies Sam Butler 26 Jaymie Graham 48 Kasey Green 35

Predictable inclusion's, no way were they going to risk Gardiner and Hansen, especially in the wet. Now is not the time for a re-injury. Graham may come in as the late inclusion.

there will be more changes...there always are for derbies.

What did Hansen actually do to his thigh?? We heard that he twinged it at training 4 weeks ago. It must have been a pretty substantial tear.

I am still smarting over Gardy not being ready to play after having 2 weeks off. How does that happen?

If we go in unchanged from that lineup we are going to get pumped.
Yeap....

Our only saviour is if it buckets down and therfore limits the impact of Pavlich / McPharlap in the fwd line.

I'm be crying in my beer tonight... and praying that make a late change.

I'm not disputing the current changes, I think one more needed to be made....

Gaspar or Graham in / Seaby or Sampi out.

I can't believe your nervous. you have dominated the competiton for 3/4 of the season.
Just realistic

Yes your recent run of wins haven't been against top sides, but... you have looked fairly impressive.

On the otherhand, we are limping with injuries and a form slump over the last 6 weeks or so.

Making no excuses for the Eagles. I just think we'll get done, unless the rain helps us out.

why do you want those changes? Matera is injured and might not pull up and even if he does he wont be 100%. We need sampi to help phil. Likewise Cox and Seaby.

If I had to make a change, I would drop Morton and bring in Graham. Morton and Jones are too similar IMO.

What has Hansen done? I thought it was just a corkie, obviously more like a serious strain. One of my favourite players to watch.

Why are we persevering with Rowan Jones? Seriously.

How can we bang on and on about how much depth we have when this ********ing dud can still get a game?

He'll do SFA and get dropped the week after. Why wouldn't we just play an extra tall like Graham for the sake of flexibility? I'd even prefer to give Wooden a game, or even give LeCras another run.

Jones is ********.

They said on the news that if it rains then Butler may be included, but if the weather is fine then Graham could be an inclusion. Who knows though, I'm really hoping Graham gets a run.

Where better off going small, what is a tall bloke gonna do in the poruing rain, with howling wind. Jones is getting a game purely because he plays quite well in the rain.

Nothing to be fussed about. Atleast Cox isnt out

It's the second year in a row Hansen has missed a substantial amount of games late in the season.

How they can not replace Doogs with a tall is what I want to know.

If it isn't raining they probably will

I gather that Jones is not getting a game this year because of his poor disposal as his WAFL form warrants selection.

The fact that it is highly likely to be ********ing down with rain on Friday night means he is probably a better prospect than McDougall, Rosa , Butler or Graham for this game.

Obviously derbies are more physical than most games in the home and away season and considering we're almost guaranteed top spot I don't see why we'd go over the top and risk injuries to already fragile KP players. Sure, we need to rediscover the form which got us this far, but considering the rain which is expected, even if we did bring in one, or more of Gardiner, Gaspar, Hansen and Graham we likely wouldn't play through them that much. Give them another weeks rest and start generating momentum for the finals next week.

As for not playing McDougall, he's had his chance. I'd suspect his year is up. Rowan Jones on the other hand has probably been given a goodbye game this weekend, so instead of being tools and knocking him show him some respect and remember all the things he's done for the club over the years.
