We played shit last night but should not have lost. Just some bad luck.
Shit happens !
I was impressed at how we looked in first few games.
We did not let Freo and Richmond play well. The pressure was there.
Last week we were flat. Total crap performance.
Last night we got the ball but the bloody disposal was shocking.
No one was hitting targets. That's where the problem was.
We got the ball but too many clangers.
Really should not have lost last nights game.
However, footy is a funny game.
We have the ability to match it with any team.
I don't care what anyones says. We can beat any team if we play a complete game.
As long as we put the pressure on the opposition and hit targets we can go places.
We should not blame the forwards if they lead and the ball drops short or goes over their head.
I never tip against us and prefer to think we will win.
That is why I go to the Football.
To WIN !!!
and we will smash Essendon.
Our form will improve.
Better to peak at end of season than now !

Mark it Down Pie fans! I'm normally upbeat before going into games but that lost last night when leading by 3 goals halfway into the last quater will shatter the confidence of the Player's. We are playing gutless football atm and we lack leadership and pace (sometyhing Essendon has) I honestly thought that We had great young talent but where have they been this year? I thought We Would make the top 4 in the next 2 years and win the premiership in either 2010 or 2011. But now it seems a long way off!

Yes you can boast about collingwood have over 40,000 member's, having the best facilities (They some how don't seem to be working Eddie) and having more money and having the biggest supporter base around Australia, but all we really care about is winning premierships and 18 years is far to long!

I was confident against Carlton and we lost
I was confident against North and we lost
I am not so confident against the Bombers, so that means we should win right?

Their pace will worry the crap out of us, our slow useless midfield will wonder what happened when they see the Essendon quicks go hurtling past them, but our forward and backlines are far superior to the Bummers, so this game could go either way.

Otherwise F..k it tank the year and finish botton 4 because we can pick up a good draft pick a possibly a good shot at getting a name player like a cousens,kerr into our midfield which is what we need.
The next 4 weeks will tell the story of our season.If we lose the next few games,may as well play all the kids this year and aim for a bottom 4,to secure a few good draft picks,at seasons end.I hear the draft this year will be strong,and their will be alot of players from various clubs who'll be out of contract.

Compared to last season in terms of the players on the field we have stepped up a notch in terms of having another tap ruckman who can win the ball.

Only difference is a current lack of determination which got us over the line last year. This can and will change and I honestly think that over such an embarrassing fade away last week, enough heads will roll to get the change happening.

Although we are making being in the top 4 difficult for ourselves, it is towards the latter end of the season where we must hit our strides.

WOW alot must have changed in 2 weeks. The list is now Sh!t, off field managment is no good, we are soft, have no leadership etc etc etc. Seriously mate what a ridiculous over emotional irrational post.
We have an outstanding young list but in relying on mostly under 23 year olds we will go through form slumps. We will be very hard to beat once out gun youngsters are all at around the 70-100 game mark. History tells this. What Mick did with the kids last year was nothing short of unbelievable. I am not at all supprise some have droped off a bit. They will bounce back and while it may not be this year(although its still not to late) I for one am very confident we will win a flag in the next few years.

You and supporters like you are the problem with the collingwood football club

What a croc - yeah it's negative supporters turning up and signing up to the tune of 40,000 that have stopped this club winning 1 flag in the last 18 years, 2 in the last 50! If you 've been around Collingwood since before the mid to early 90's, you'd understand why we get so pissed off at times like this.
Almost every time we get a side together that looks like competing at a top level and expected to do well, we stop doing the things that got us that reputation in the first place. Don't know if it's taking tickets on themselves, or thinking the slight bit of hard work that got us the reputation is enough to carry us through or what - but it could be the 'forgiving ' supporters that say - "oh come on, it's only 1 game, you can't win them all" that let our club think it's alright to slack off!
Basically, the long termers have seen it all before, and are frustrated instantly that the early signs point down the same mediocre road.

How about you all let EVERYONE have their say, be it negative or positive, and cut the "your not a true loyal supporter" drivel. Basic skills like manning up, picking the ball up off the ground first touch instead of fumbling on the ground with it and hoping for a free kick, waiting for opposition to get the hard ball so we can tackle them, kicking over leading forwards heads, the list goes on. Seen it all before, and it shits me no-end!
All we want as supporters, is for this bloody side to play as we know them capable, and every so often, smash the opposition like they deserve to be, and we are most capable of, instead of getting to round 22 and missing on top 4 or 2 because of percentage or 1 game short because we dropped one to a lowly Carlton or Melbourne on Queens birthday games.
