Which is it?
I was just reading your finals ticketing thread and was shaking my head at this guy

1030am here - it's sold out
1030pm on your board - I said it wouldn't sell out and I copped shit

Don't you hate that? been to many games where it says it's sold out but yet there a plenty of seats available.

Yep, it happens quite often, but there's a logic explanation for it. A serious amount of members who don't actually show up. I have a few seats next to me, that were confirmed to be members by the club, so I could not purchase them, but I haven't seen these people ever. It happens, members paying good money to not use their seats. What a waste, and frustrating for those who see empty areas in the stadium while "sold out!"..

It could be that they want hassle free tickets
Then just sit in ga with their friends each week who can't sit in your reserved seating area.

That's it. Dont think you can do much with teserved seat members who've bought a seat. Our club forced GA members to book at seat in the GA area at no cost for the Swans game. This was to avoid the 20k sellout in a 24k stadium. Seemed to work pretty well. I think we have a high percentage of GA members because it's cheap and you get pretty good seats and plenty of room generally. Also we have no concept of standing room or grass seating.

The guy is a known troll on the Port board.

Interesting. WCE won their first flag in their 6th season as a club, finished 4th on the ladder with a 15-6-1 record. GWS are in their 6th season and finished 4th with a similar record. I wonder if there's been a team with a 15-6-1 record since 1992 like WCE had until this season, which we've got.

Anyway, Head says Crows but if I think about it more I can kind of see GWS doing what they did last year where they shocked the swans in week 1. If Sloane's out that's a big loss. On the other hand crows at home are a force and can smash anyone. Regardless, I'll go with GWS.

Cats to beat Tigers. Richmond won't always choke and they could do what the doggies did last year and break their drought. But until I see it I can't tip it. Dangerfield factor for me see us home.

Swans.

Port vs WCE - Interesting. Home crowd and energy could see Port over the line or even win big. But Eagles grabbed a lifeline and have JK who can kick a bag. Eagles are playing with house money where anything from here on in is a bonus. BE-****ING-WARE.

WCE to get the chocolates.

West Coast need to play Nic Nat.

Seriously it has been over 12 months. Longer than the average come back. You can't keep him out forever.

If he did do it again it would just be bad luck and could've happened any time (rd 1 next year for example).

If he is a bit underdone and does a hammy that is just the risk you go with.

A heaps better side with him in it and if they win he can build match fitness as they go.

Only chance they have of making a meaningful impact.

Happened soooo often at Subiaco. I don't know if it's a Ticketek issue or members just aren't going. If it's the latter, it'd be good if clubs could incentivise or encourage those who aren't going to inform them so seats can become available.

Have not rated Port all season but i feel they have a bit of Dogs of 2016 about them. We saw how they played finals in 2014 so they might have what it takes.
Nothing like the Dogs of 2016.
Port will not win a game away from Adelaide Oval, so that rules them out for the flag this year.

The GWS should be going in as favs by game time next week.. especially if Sloane and Jacobs are out
I don't know how Jacobs can play after his brother passed away yesterday (suddenly). Poor Sam and his family. horrible news.
Something tells me the footy gods don't want the crows to win the flag.....

Nicky Winmar played a game 2 decades ago right after his dad died

Brett Favre (NFL) played one of the best games of his career the night after his dad died.

I'm sure Sauce will play
And I'm sure Sloane will play

If there was no bye though. Then yeah, they probably miss. But I'm sure both will play next week.

Adelaide beat GWS provided Sam Jacobs can recover to play. My sympathy to Sam and family.
Geelong edge out Richmond in a close one at the "G"; Cats must be wary as Tiger ferals could influence the umps.
Sydney (my beloved South) to tough it out and send the Bombers down down into the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Port will send the Eagles packing into the setting sun.
