Actually think Martin Frederick would’ve been decent depth for someone if he’d been picked up straight after being delisted from Port. May of even surprised and become best 22 somewhere.

He wasn’t the worst. Sometimes opportunity is king and Michael had plenty of it.

Surprised he didn’t get a go at west coast, at least as experienced depth.

TBF I didn't recognise Draper at all without his cornrows. His new haircut makes him look about 12 years old.

Poor game today after a pretty good one last week. Equal lowest rated player, with Emmett. 1 goal, 2 kicks, 2 frees against and no tackles. We need so much more from him.

Killing me the way he’s staying outside rather than closing space, presumably relying on someone else to win the ball back.
Several times today when, with better anticipation he could have laid a tackle on the receiving player, instead he’s just watching them waltz away with it.

He’s always been an extreme fumbler. Used to make me laugh when people suggested he would make a good winger. Anyone that seriously thought that doesn’t know much about football. Wingers get 25 or 30 touches a game, clean hands is just essential in that position.

Freddie’s best is when he has 12 touches on a HFF while hurting teams with quick speedy transition on a rebound after a turnover.

The reason he slid in the draft is because of the fumbling - we have shaped a role for him where that weakness can be limited and his strengths utilised (speed and goal kicking).
In saying that he could do more from a tackling perspective though he is clearly instructed to hold width in a team defence when we don’t have the ball so not that easy to rack up big tackle numbers.
