Yeah dunno about that. He was an average player at his peak 7-8 years ago. The last 5 years hes been a complete spud. He is absolutely not better than any of those players now
He averaged 20+ touches, kicked 35 goals and had 40+ goal assists across 2016-2018, playing basically every game. He was better than an average player at his peak, but he hasn’t been close to that player since 2019 and it’s hard to see him getting there at 31. It’s an unusual pickup.

We have too many players that are too good for SANFL but not good enough to play AFL finals.

I'm wondering who these players are that are too good for sanfl. I wish they would show it.

Mead - narkle - McEntee - Evans - Dixon are an example and the club has cut some of these already.

Even Burton - Boak & Finlayson are borderline imo and with T. Marshall have concusion issues is another.

Most of these players would be playing reserves at the good clubs.

Which games did any of them actually dominate SANFL when they played there?

Sorry to say they would be desisted at any club worth it's salt!
You're to kind.

This is what I’ve been saying for a while.
We have a lot of players playing that wouldn’t make it in a decent AFL side.
It’s amazing we finished so high last year considering what was on the ground most weeks.
A even season with all clubs struggling helped make us look better than we actually are.
In a normal season we wouldn’t have made the 8.

Agree entirely with your post.

Didn’t you get the Memo?
We want to win one more Sanful premiership before we tell them TGAGF.

Probably the worst trait of the loser Hinkley nature is that he's self-sabotaging and we have a whole heap of high end talent but he continually chooses to derail this by playing net negative players from 18-23.

There are people on this forum who don't think that having a few spuds matters and stick up for these players but in the end, the other players have to do extra because they can't do their jobs and are continually exploited by good coaches.

If we ditched Hinkley three years ago, a good coach would have us seriously vying for premierships already.

The fact that the Board doesn't see that means they are looking elsewhere and probably the lining of their own pockets.
