So I guess you didn't watch Geelong run all over us in a home final three months ago? Because you couldn't have forgotten already right? Or Sydney two weeks after that? What about the baby hawks who nearly stormed over the top of us a week after the Geelong game.
Our running wasn't up to snuff in the finals last year, infact we were beaten in all three finals in total sprints, repeat sprints and defensive running. The only place our running was greater than our opponents was in attack and three of our top five runners were Narkle, McEntee and Frank Evans all of whom were running to no where.
So the grand final isn't a two k time trial the finals are a 45k marathon and we've been found lacking over the last five years when we've competed in them.

Seeing as this was Mitch's sixth year at the club I wouldn't think so. I believe Rozee and and Butters at the very least were involved because they've mentioned that they've competed in everything the 1-4 years have.

Luckily we have recruited to fix this huge problem with Atkins, Richards and maybe Watkins.
Very interesting! Nice to Anasta do well. I really want him and a few other young lads to break out of the pack and show themselves to be AFL players!

Pretty sure Mitch Georgiades has performed exceptionally well for a player his size in the 2 Ks previously
I don't think our running ability or relative performances in things such as 2km time trials would be much different to any other club. I do have some concerns that we seem to tire and limp in to finals most years though, but i'm not sure that has anything to do with our 2km time trial levels, that is more a injury management issue at the club.
It’s more game plan and the tax it puts on our players physically…but that’s covered in another thread or two….

I doubt his speed over
