I actually like his attitude. Most guys in his position would be rolling out the old 'I'm here to help out the young guys, hopefully I get to play some AFL but we'll see!'. Ratkins is backing himself in and believes he's got plenty more to offer. He might still end up bombing but at least he's approaching his footy with the right attitude.

We forced Paddy Ryder out of position and then of the club because we were paying Lycett like $600,000 a year to put in performances like that.

Potentially our single worst list management decision in the AFL era give considering how badly Lycett cost us in that prelim. Imagine if we've got Ryder rucking there.
