I notice a lot of BF posters have got Frankie in our best 22 for 2018, even starting Round 1.

How realistic is that? I know he had a few decent games for EP early this year, but that was about it (from memory). Can he really have a big enough pre-season to go from Cat b rookie to best 22?

If I was betting on it, I’d want $5+ on my one dollar bet that he’d play a game in 2018....

Anyone else care to frame a market?

$5.00 for round 1 is fair

Beyond that $1.50 or less. Barring injury he'll play a senior game in 2018 especially with the change to the rookie list rules that no longer require a main list player to be put on the LTI list for a rookie to be elevated.

Was close to getting a game last year before an untimely ankle injury

Is his nickname Sherlock yet

Maybe Elementary is better

Can't wait for Francis Watson to come good this year. We know him mainly for his footballing talents, but I've tried to put together a little bit more about his life c/- Wikipedia.

The son of a clergyman, Watson was born on a ship in the bay at Saint Helena. He moved to New Zealand and become a school teacher. The man is a natural leader and whilst teaching became headmaster. Being the son of a clergyman it should be no surprise that on the side he is an English theologian and New Testament scholar publishing the popular 2013 volume, Gospel Writing. A Canonical Approach, his most voluminous study to date and also held the role of Dean of Leighlin for a brief period.

Sir Francis Watson (as we should be calling him) has also seated as a Member of Parliament, representing the British Conservative party and acted as the Deputy Prime Minister for the Bahamas.

Think this building looks impressive? Well Frank designed it, so I'm not surprised!

An accomplished sportsman, Francis has played county cricket for Lancashire, represented Blackpool for Soccer and Leeds for Rugby League.

The man has serious skills so don't be shocked when he trains the house down this preseason and lines up round 1 for the Eagles.
