Screenshot and post links made in the game thread and tagging me. I check, confirm, kill said playerMillky95 How on earth could this be managed across the umpteen Boards and threads on BF?
sure, we’ve got another month or two to killWant me to an assassin while we wait for this game to finish?
But there would be a minimum post requirement per day in the game thread to keep some focus.WOW... Would take obsessional folk to new levels. Nowadays I only post in WW games, SFA nonsense, Bloods Board, sporadically on the Main Board and of course the Cult of Robbo thread. There are miles more prolific posters with broad tastes than me. I reckon catching me out would be tough, but others?
Anyone running the next game? I have a Parks & Rec themed one that could be fun.
Office UK vs Office US werewolf
thoughts?
great idea... can Extras be Village?
Should Werewolf have it's own board somewhere on BF?
Discuss?
From what I have seen in other forums that do have a Mafia board:Arguably, yes. It’s one of the things that is promoted to do. The question is, is it a free for all ie you can have multiple games at once and anyone can mod, or will one/two people control when the games are with controlled modders?
I quite like ‘SFA’ werewolf but if there is enough demand there can certainly be separate games like the song contest has.
From what I have seen in other forums that do have a Mafia board:
- You have to submit your game to the board mods before posting to ensure balance and you are actually serious about modding
- Only one game active at one time
- Sign ups for the second game can be open a few days into the current active game (I think it's when half the players are head?)
- Mods keep a "you're up next list" and PM the host when they are allowed to post the next game's sign ups
Games like the current one EskimoPAFC is hosting would be submitted by PM to a mod for approval to keep the secrecy of roles hidden with the knowledge that the mod that got PM'd wouldn't be allowed to playGreat structure, I guess thats an extra layer of admin that currently exists. If there are a group of willing formal mods, great idea!
Not really. The Club Room has a purpose with or without Werewolf. It'll be fine.Would support the idea for a Werewolf board, this would invite more and different players. I remember the Richmond board ran games and I ran a crossover game between the SFA and Richmond boards, but I don't know if they still run games.
My only concern is that "The Club Room" sub-board would then become almost inactive without Werewolf.
The idea of a groups of admins to oversee werewolf games was floated around in the early days, but nothing every eventuated from the discussions and we couldn't settle on a group.
If such a BF wide board was made, the admins would just pick the best mods with WW hosting experience for the gig and it would be ran like every other board from thereThe idea of a groups of admins to oversee werewolf games was floated around in the early days, but nothing every eventuated from the discussions and we couldn't settle on a group.
Best advice to modding for the first time is to co-mod with someone and see how they do it and start with a simple more classic game with a bit of theming .I’ve never modded before so this is a medium term idea while I revamp gameplay.
Yes. I'm surprised its not on the games board TBH.Should Werewolf have it's own board somewhere on BF?
