Apparently this club is one of the most proffesional clubs in the AFL. That's a bit of a laugh considering they had a chance to draft Palmer over Masten but chose the latter, due to a family connection.

The mantra of picking the best available talent was cast aside and a "member of the family" was upped. Shambles

This club will be in a hole for a long time. The man at the helm is putting in a shocker, not far behind is the mute skipper.

Perhaps the WAFC should do a thorough investigation into this disgrace of a club.

Freo, since they joined the competition have been a complete failure.
One win against Melbourne (that makes it 1 from 2 against them this year) and you take some confidence from that?

Was it Drum who was told when he signed up for the job that the Derbys are the main focus and the most important games of the season

We chose Masten because he has shown a lot of potential at WAFL level and in the games he has played he has been very good. He has had groin injuries since the pre season, hence the reason he is out for the rest of the season

A little early to be comparing the 2.

What has your club done in their existence to give them the title of "flagship of the west"

The actual Flag tally of 0? The inferior derby record? The Spoon? The lack of Brownlow medalists? TH policy of recruiting washed up players past their best?

I could go on.

If football isn't about premierships then what is it about? Maybe that's why Fremantle haven't actually won one yet, they haven't been told that the whole point of the season is to be there on that last Saturday in September playing for the flag.

Fremantle are, and will continue to be, the competition's laughing stock. All hype every single pre-season, before folding like a house of cards during the real stuff every single time.
