Four very good choices! I went with the 05 QF, although the events of a few weeks later soured things, that was an epic win.
Aside from the momentous day in 2006 and a couple of other entertaining wins (including the Round 1 07 epic) our record against Sydney since the start of the millennium has been... well horrific

The Context:
Entering the 2007 season, the West Coast Eagles and Sydney Swans were in the midst of one of the most remarkable rivalries in football history. The previous five encounters between the clubs had been decided by a total margin of just 12 points, a run which included four finals and back-to-back Grand Finals. In fact, it had been six years since either club claimed consecutive victories against the other, a trend that West Coast would need to break if they were to start their Premiership defence off in the right way.

After a tumultuous offseason for the reigning Premiers, and without six players from their triumphant Grand Final side, the Eagles travelled to Telstra Stadium to prove they were still the team to beat, while Sydney were desperate for revenge after a one-point heartbreak on the last day in September. Michael Braun played his 200th AFL match, while Mitch Brown made his debut.

Far out, our depth was good that year. We had so many future stars in that team: Hurn, Pridda, Lecca. Makes me wonder what could have been if the squad didnt implode and Judd stayed. Imagine that second wave of competitiveness around 2010/2011 with Judd/Kerr/cox/Glass and Hurn/Prid/Lecca. Forward line would still have been average though.
