Eagles player streaming through the midfield kicking inside 50 - kicks to 25m dead in front where every Eagles forward flies for the mark. Happened at least 5 times so far. Might be time the Eagles forwards lead to different areas to make some space.

Oooo, trouble in paradise - Townsend has a side piece from Ruscoe in Tony Notte.

Our rucks are putting in a pathetic effort, Livingstone and Batman, the latter is no ruckman. I think Batman needs trailing as a KPP. Very disappointed in Burgiel - I watch the Beagles every week on stream, and have yet to see him put in an effort. He doesn't seem to care, supposedly is fast but trails behind his opponents each time and eats dust. Not impressed by him at all - IMO delist material.
Forward line is dysfunctional - as others have mentioned, too many talls flying together, no space, no system, no brains. Swans just clear it straight out again with searing run.

Real basic stuff - don't think I've seen a single realistic lead from a forward for the game.
They keep kicking it to Lucassen for some reason too, well on his head anyway.
As someone who hasn't been big on Hall he's been pretty good, moves more quickly than I thought and has a decent kick on him.
Team is still a bit shit though

Really is painful watching, the Beagles. Gaff is just totally a non-event these days - just no impact whatsoever.
So many players just don't seem to care.

Harry Edwards has been good, Ruscoe too. Culley and Trew, good. Not much else unfortunately.

JW should get a game instead of Matt Flynn next week
Harry Edwards maybe as well

Those that watched the coverage, was there any mention of why Jamieson was out?

Even the Sunday Times had him as “TBC”.

No, John Townsend was rotating between calling the play, talking about Ruscoe, then Notte, then Hutchinson's 5 goals and subsequent promotion, then back to the play.

When you know it has basically no influence on senior selection why would you bother

West Australian Football Commission wrote: “The West Coast Eagles have met their obligation by confirming their intention to trigger a two-year extension to compete in the WAFL competition in 2025 and 2026.
“This extension is subject to appropriate concessions being made available to the club in order to allow them to improve their recruitment opportunities.

“The WAFC will now negotiate with the club, in line with the League’s Competitive Balance principles as per the rules of the competition.” It comes after The West Australian revealed the Eagles were looking for a reduction in their licensing fee as well as a similar model to Peel Thunder and the Fremantle alignment when it came to player points and salary cap.

Eagles will now instead keep their stand-alone side in the WAFL but will seek better conditions. West Coast pay $600,000 a season for their WAFL team licence, but want it reduced to roughly $480,000 which Fremantle pay as part of their deal with Peel Thunder.
