That list was interesting for sure if it's the same one I'm thinking about. But it also showed that the current North skipper received more head-high free kicks than either Scott Selwood or Luke Shuey (and they're apparently two of the more notorious). No bleating on about how Andrew Swallow flaunts the rules.
LOL! you're like the murderer standing over the dead body knife in hand and blood all over you, saying it wasnt me, the kangaroo did it! Nice try trying to deflect the head high conundrum onto North Melbourne, ha! that is probably not the best one i've heard all year but it is still very good, well done.
Here's the list from @FoxFootyAnalyst on twitter:
J Selwood 133
A Selwood 104
A Swallow 67
B McGlynn 64
S Selwood 63
L Shuey 63
Umm, lets see, which teams are represented here? 3 players from the Ducks i see. one from Geelong, and we all know who that is. One from Sydney and one from NM. No other team in here out of 18 teams in the comp, yet 3 of the top 6 players represented by one team, the Ducks, hmmmmm, I wonder if that is statistically significant or not, D'oh? Also 3 brothers in the top 6. Very strange. I wonder if they talk to each other?
You say Swallow has received more head high frees than 2 Ducks on the list? Well they're right on par in the 60s. Next week the 2 Duckers might have more. You say why aren't Norf under scrutiny from other teams' supporters? Look at the free kick count from last year, then also look at this list at J & A Selwood, and how enormously out in front they are. Then read my earlier posts in this thread about the Selwood influence that inevitably must filter thru to the rest of the Ducks, and the 2012 stats, yes the hard cold stats, on the free kick count. That's why no-one is concerned with one player from Norf. And yes, all the talk is about the Ducks, and will continue to be, as these umpiring decisions are helping the Ducks steal the 4 points from other teams like they did Friday nite. Great mark and goal by NicNat, but it shouldnt have been down there in the first place.
Cant wait to see what youre gonna come back with this time. But I'm sure it'll be very entertaining as usual!
