It's all such open football at the moment. Clearly an area where we struggle and for some reason we're playing into it.

Probably the big difference between the sides is:
1. As we've seen in other weeks, our defenders are just bad and lose a lot of contests, they position themselves badly and just cough up goals, where as the Eagles players have defended dourly.
2. The ball use by Port moving forward has just been horrendous. We have options out everywhere and we ignore the handball, we miss the kick by a long way, or we just bomb to their defensive numbers.


Clearly the game is pretty level, but we're going to need to tidy up a fair bit to pinch this.


Hammond is having her best game for the club. Dowrick and Scholz have been good. After that though it is slim pickings.

Ewings has fallen off a cliff. Fumbling a lot and just not impacting the game.

Honestly I dont understand why we dont put Erin out on a wing. Her strength is decision making and ball use, she's lost that zip in the contest and just struggles because she gets closed down so easy. Get her out in space where she can hurt the opposition.
