Petrevski, Roux, Franklin?

I think we keep Franklin, still young, KPP.

Roux is a bit older, and now much less likely to turn potential into reality, but they may keep her for versatility.

Not sure how Petrevski is tracking. If she is on track to return healthy and keen, maybe keep.

But it's not hard to come up with 7 names to go with Gooch.

Surprised Di Donato or Goranova didn't get at least one more year. And Sergeant got the raw end of the prawn considering she did her knee before the season started so she didn't even have a chance.

But oh well, Daisy ruthless and continue the culture change at the club.

I’ll never understand the Simmons move. No idea why they signed a 32 year old with no football experience to begin with, but she played 7 of a possible 11 games in her first year and didn’t look out of place. Then she’s not offered a second year.

Yeah that whole situation is pretty bizarre.
Shame she is 32 because she actually looked like she was improving as the season went on.
She certainly never shyed away from the contest and her tank was pretty impressive.

That said we need to improve our skill across the board and therefore there will always be casualties in the process of list rejuvenation.

Yeah...I'm too lazy to do a Google search but was she signed before or after Daisy signed on? Maybe Daisy made a long term decision instead of a short term one..she was probably only gonna be on the list for like one more season perhaps two with her age.

Wouldn't be surprised if some didn't get re signed, but it makes sense to clear space now to see if we cannot upgrade each one, and if not, put back on the list.

Harken and Tess Lyons being replacement players were always up against it. Harken will be ready to tear it up at WAFLW level again.

Of these only Goranova surprised me. But understand the move.

Well she did help three clubs make grand finals... Also played her best footy alongside Daisy (3rd & 5th in Melbourne's B&F when they were runners-up and premiers).

West Coast made an offer to her back in 2021. Wouldn't be surprising if they did it again because of the connection to the coach, despite being a very long shot.

Think Goronova is a good delisting but I'd have kept Octavia as depth for another season, thought she showed a bit.

I think Goranova is pretty unlucky to be delisted, however I accept that it happened.

That said I am sure Claremont will gladly have her back.

SO, if we land Edmonds and we are retaining Lakay, Im a little worried about where that puts Lakfer in terms of position and need. Daisy seems to be trying her up forward but I don't think her kicking allows for her to do her best work there?

I was also half expecting Hooker to retire tbh, her gut running and clean skills could definitely be of use for us on the outside maybe but she's nowhere near her peak unfortunately

I have been pretty vocal about the absurdity concerning Simmons also, the ONLY thing I can think of is it was to be a template for the younger girls to copy in terms of elite training standards? Still a head scratcher though

Yeah always thought she was compliant, ran hard and played her role.
Suppose a lack of flair and polish maybe doesn't marry well with Daisy's projection for our game style, along with little production.
