Yeah, there's no leveling up or experience points lol (although that would be awesome!).
Every game is random, but certain positions have a higher chance of producing better results.
A flanker could dominate one game then go cold the next 2, whereas a midfield position is more consistent.
Our version of the Brownlow Medal, the Mobbs Medal, is usually dominated by midfielders and the occasional ruckman, and why the midfield position is an often sought out position.

Crowie and TFB are pretty good to the new guys if they look like they are going to be active posters, so you'll probably make more of an impact than you think.

Yep, giving the rookies more midfield time is definitely on the agenda for next season.

jjsmitty8 and 4321 were our main ones for Season 18 and both did quite well in the position.
However, the forward pocket position isn't a position that is usually desired, because it's a position that usually consists of 2 bad games, 3 mediocre games, 1 good game.
But we'll have a few praccy matches before the season, and we'll definitely start you at the forward pocket position and you can see how much you like it.

It's just a random one from last season against the Demons (Reigning Premiers) the "match thread" basically just banter between the two teams. The thread is usually posted on a Monday or Tuesday, and every night Logger sims the game using a program called Qooty. It's totally random etc. bottom team could beat top team by 100 points easily. It's alot of fun, but the season doesn't start until jan/feb.
