The last round of the season has finally arrived... technically a win here had us in with a chance of finals but it was going to be a big ask and an even bigger ask after we lost our three quarter time lead to lose to the Las Vegas Bears by 7 points.

Cubs2Lions returned to the fold late in the season and jumped back in the midfield and claimed a single mobbs medal vote with future captain, Millky95 claiming the three for the Bears. dogs105 was among the best with 24 disposals and three goals while other best and fairest front runners, ClarkeM (43 DT) and Pamcake1 (68 DT) didn't have games that stamped their dominance putting the winner in question marks in what surely has been a thrilling end to the count....

I don't think I've seen many teams full forwards get disrespected by the sim as much as we did this season. We tried multiple players in the area starting with BFew then DenieD and then HARPSichord.

It did make the final goal kicking tally very close though with the winner taking home the award by just two goals.

After going missing for parts in the middle of the season, the start and end of their season was good enough to claim another top five finish. Congratulations Cubs2Lions on a fourth place finish in the season 38 Wonders Best and Fairest.

After another fantastic season across the midfield the bookies would have had them as the favourite pre-count but unfortunately they were not able to claim their second best and fairest.

Now, for the award we have been leading to all season and for the last three hours.

After a slow start to the year, no one could quite handle the ruck role until he was moved there for the back half of the season. From there he was dominant and no opposition could out ruck our ruck dog.

Welcome to the West Coast Wonders Fantasy Football Club's night of nights!

After the passing of Grand Uncle Horace at the beginning of the season, it was decided that the Wonders rookie award would be renamed in his honour. Grand Uncle Horace previously won this award exactly 10 seasons ago and has been one of the Wonders best ever rookie recruits.

This season we welcomed Giant YoYo and Roonescape to our organisation and this would have been extremely hard to pick if the latter had joined at the start of the season as both of them hit their straps quickly and we can not wait to see what they bring to the league in seasons to come.
