Many years ago, before some of you were even born (!) a small group of trolls lived under a bridge.

There are many evil trolls but there are some nice trolls too. One at least. He was a leader of the trolls and was known as the-troll-with-his-head-attached

The troll tribe loved to play Qricket and every summer evening would practice their craft in the nets under the West Gate Bridge. The-troll-with-his-head-attached was the fastest bowling troll ever seen.

One day, as the sun set and some roadworks allowed some space on the bridge, the trolls decided to see whether the-troll-with-his-head-attached could claim the wicket of the great troll batter, the-troll-encased-in-regular-puff-pastry

The troll-encased-in-pastry didn’t realise and set up for the hook
