Having sat within meetings involving the VCFL/ AFL Vic review, and receiving the 126 page finding and recommendations , I can assure you it has been completed and recommendations sent to affiliates .
If your talking about a SA Footy review, are you surprised that the Victorian review is completed and the SA it is yet to commence ? ;):thumbsu:

According to the vcfl the findings will be sent out to the media 48 hours after clubs have been told so we should know very soon whether you are telling the truth. When were the findings sent out. If it was yesterday it will be in the warrnambool standard tomorrow!!!

This is part of AFL Vic's review into Vic country , which IIRC , the recommendation is to have it sorted for the commencement of the season 2013 .

If this is not the review which is being debated , I apologies for barking up the wrong tree .

That review was more to do with governance in football victoria and had nothing to do with league struxtures. I believe some of the major recommendations were a merger between Afl vic and the vcfl and the creation of CAH's. I believe the wbfl was recommeded to run the CAH in the south west area. The vcfl performed a similar review earlier on in the year which you can view on the vcfl website. Interestingl enough I know this and never took part in any meetings as you did.
Did you even read the report?
Catchmeifucan you seem very immature and I honestly cannot see anyone letting you take part in meetings as important as this

:D:D Yes some of the recommendations did involve central admin hubs , I also note that you have added about a merger , between AFL Vic and VCFL , I'd appreciate your further explanation of this ??
Given Peter Jackson visited most areas and conducted meetings with most Footy bodies , you might want to cool your heals a little and appreciate that your not the only one who has some knowledge , furthermore everyone is entitled to their opinion, without you questioning them .

A merger between afl vic and vcfl were part of the recommendations, assests and liabilities to be transferred over to Afl victoria. I believe the core of the recommendation was to reduce operating costs. Far as I know the vcfl have not agreed to it and are investigating it further

Poor South Australians have no idea that their little WB league is about to come to an end!!! About time and let us VIC sides move on to bigger and better things!!!

Bring on 2013 and be done with SA!!

Agreed the only Vic team that can compete against those South Aussies is Portland. For the rest of us its getting pretty embarrasing, better to be flogged by other Vics than those Croweaters.

You move onto bigger and better things, from a collingwood fool you are used to running second to a better team. i suggest you start to think a little before you open that trap of yours.

Well said Jackaa. We have struggled for far too long against those pricks and its about time we enjoy some success of our own. Imps, Ham, Cast to join the SWDFL so we can finally experience what those over the border seem to experience every year. A PREMIERSHIP!!!
freak who is the big signing up your way on baller from sunrasia league some bloke called devon burton has brought the canadian rooster?.

Absolutely why not join a high quality professionally run league like the south west district. Surey they cant be that far off the number 1 ranking in victoria. Look out Goulburn valley!!!

Roar Passion the report you have quoted was more of a statewide review of how football is currently run with suggestions on how it could be improved. The review being discussed by most of the members on here is a more specific review initiated by the VCFL into the local league structures and viability in the South West of Victoria and will be run in conjunction with a SA Community football review on the other side of the border. I think catchmeifucan is correct in that a proposal similar to the one he mentioned is one of the possible outcomes but as far as I know there are at least 3 or 4 more models being spoken about and there certainly hasn't been a decision made at this stage. I don't think all of the stakeholders have even been spoken to yet.

And no doubt a SA alternative is being considered which is why the KNTFL have been brought into the review.
What are the other league structures being suggested....can you give us a heads up?

Latest news coming out of the Sunraysia league is that Glenn Gascoyne has been talking to his old club Mildura. Apparentley not happy with the employment deal and the associated travelling with the job that the club set up for him. Another big loss for the saints if the deal goes through

i think u need to get your facts right ! vic clubs have won 6 of the last 11 flags in the WBFL and in 2010 west broke a 39 year drought !!!! didnt see them wanting to jump ship when the chips were down . TOUGHEN UP VICS !

Looks like Millicent have had some recruiting succcess. Tim Milera from Port Adelaide (and Crows list) handy small forward at that level and young Benno is returning from Glenelg, a mobile tall, reminds me a bit of Hagget and would certainly help in the ruckwork. Couple more and look out North.

North have recruited in quantity not quality. Richard Ogrady is there only decent recruit the others I doubted are any better than the players they already have or the kids coming up through the ranks. North were also intersted in benno for the number 1 ruck job.....have they lost faith in Nulty???

On the WBFL site it has Dempsey listed as a clearance pending to the MDSE. Just surprised as Dempsey is areal East name. Can he play?

Dont know never saw him play..I think he only played a handful of games in the ressies. Interesting to see Kamara go to west Id assume they promised him more time in the seniors

Who's going to play on macca in round 1? Bryant is playing Bs so he won't and Duldig is centre half back?

Jeremy Hales!!!!

Trial games will start around mid march.
Portland is playing Koroit and Horsham Saints
South Gambier vs Mt Burr & Penola??
Millicent vs Bordertown
Thats all I know for now!!!
Whats the update with carl slape Boston Tiger...will east clear him

My call with Slape is he will be cleared and then go to another WBFL club in 2013. Could be under Ransom at West. Then Ransom gets an offer to coach East in 2014 that is too good to refuse and he takes all the ex Easties back with him and they finish 4th.
