Ok so who is it going to be for the last ever WBFL Premiership? Is South going to do the whole town a favour and deny the Yellow Bellies their last shot at a "Flag".
Or is the NGFC finally going to BUY themselves the flag they have been trying so hard to do for the last 20 years.
My tip is South by 20 points.

Wet ground South, dry North, so I guess North if they can hold their nerve

Tough call this one either side has the potential South have emerged under every ones radar and know how to win big games.
North will need to turn up and be accounted for to win.
My Tip is North by 16 points

well wbfl now finished i suppose congrats to North, but stuff me how pathetic was South. kick with the wind kick it short, kick into wind go short, how stupid. looked slow. maybe copping should have played behind the ball in second quarter to hold them off. worst game i seen south play, credit to north they have finally won one and isf you sppend that much money surely you should win it.

Very accurate, South looked like they were not even interested in being out there. Not sure why? What more motivation would you need to get over a bunch of annoying yellow dickheads!!!

South did not have the run in their legs to keep up with North. The dry day favored North, South looked very aged and tired Leroy was the epitome of that while he done some useful things his age gave him away. Dont like North much but they deserve the win they were the best team and the best club all year!

I wonder what Penola thinks about that
Less travelling, recruit from mount gambier, Ive also heard players at penola have been fairly receptive to the idea. Kntfl will no doubt try and block it.
Not quite sure if their guernsey will clash with casterton.
Hope they join

Would be very good for Penola to join... makes everything basically within 50kms... except Millicent to Casterton.

Not sure what power the KNTFL would have if they got told that Penola had to leave.

Also read that they are looking at a way the WBFL can get to 8 teams.. including a new Mount Gambier team

Are they stronger than when they left the WBFL? Do they have a different jumper to when they last played in WBFL?

If the renetered who knows they may be able to put together a stronger team. Id say it would be an attractive prospect for those not wanting to travel much... as the furthest trip would be 30 minutes.

Normal Sacfl club transfer rules apply but it would be pointless knocking them back with the full support of the sacfl - which they have!!!

7 team league would be pretty good imo.

Nice first round:

North vs South
East vs West
Penola vs Millicent
Bye: Casterton

Wont happen as they will save North/South for Anzac day but would be a good start with Mount rivarlies and a inner council clash between Millicent and Penola.

Firstly well done to North. Good to see Flett, Oneil, Nulty finally win a flag. Too good all year

Any update on the coaching scenarios for 2013.

The only one's confirmed are Duncan-South and Ransom-West.

Any news from Millicent, East, North?

Update at Casterton, Perry to return from Tant and chasing others from around Melbourne and Geelong. Looking for a playing coach, tried Hayse but no cigar

Football review released

PENOLA Football Club is committed to remaining in the KNTFL despite the final recommendations in the Southern Border Review released last week.
The September 26 reports said: "Based upon all feedback, the panel recommends that the Penola Football Netball Club join the Western Border FL (or new entity) for the 2013 season."
Penola Football Club president Michael Palm expressly denied his club would move back to the league it departed from in 1988.
"We're geared up and ready for the 2013 KNTFL season," he told the Herald last Friday. "The general talk through the club is we are happy where we are."
