Common knowledge that after almost a century of waiting the western dole cheques won their 2nd flag. A flag they would never have won without umpire assistance in 2016. I wont revisit the finals series in great detail here but suffice to say for any late comers the free kick differential the dole cheques received was in excess of 40. A positive differential greater than most teams received in their entire 2016 season. To give some perspective of just how charitable the Umpiring fraternity was to The Western Dole cheques in their final against the GOAT, the hawks triple premiership winners the dole bludgers where penalised only once for holding the ball despite the Hawks laying a world record 104 tackles.
Now the Western Dole bludgers supporters will try and tell you this is nothing but saltiness but in all honesty I was loving the dogs 2016 flag win. Despite it being tainted and somewhat undeserving I had to laugh at the awesome troll season it was. Hell I post here.
So dont mistake my lack of respect for the dogs as a football charity organisation for dislike. Who could dislike such a useless mob of mostly harmless imbeciles with their two flags. I love laughing at lesser thans. This is the way of the Bay.
However the soft spot I hold for this red haired step cousin of a club goes further than just laughing at them. I would love the dogs to actually win a real flag for the first time in their history and so I have to call the AFL and its umpiring fraternity to account. No more charity. The Dogs are ready to win on their own!!
These little battlers out west deserve a real flag. Unassisted.
So the Bay needs to get behind the Dole cheques and shine a light on the cycle of AFL dependency out West and give these guys a hand up and not a hand out.
Dole cheques free kick watch 2019
round 1: 22 for 22 against (Swans are AFL owned franchise)
Round 2: 24 for 15 against (including 4 goals in the last quarter to carry them over the line, well done umps clearly BOG)
Round 3: for 27 against 12 (Loss to Suns)
Fans of clubs who earn their own keep please feel free to discuss your charitable donations to the doggies.... As a hawk, I would like to commend James Sicily for his donations to the doggies in round 2.
So after 3 rounds the Doles are benefiting from a positive differential of 24. WOW!!
