2007, new season how are they going to go this year, continue there run of missing out on finals and have they got the right list!!!

I have been keeping my eye on them at the few praccy matches I attended and I believe they have a real shot of making finals, round one opener against the chargers shape up to be a great challenge for the Jets but its a new year and anything is possible for these boys

Who are u kidding goose? Saw three praccy matches myself, they looked terrible, As for the list, maybe if they recruited players that are proven footballers and can actually play instaed of run a 3km time trial in olympic time maybe they might be a chance to win some games!

if there going to make a big difference this year, what a horrible start, anyone else see the game?

What can anyone say that hasn't been said before?

Jets did have a couple more first gamers than Oakleigh, but across the park I don't honestly believe the Jets side should be a 15 goal worse team than Oakleigh.

There have been times previously where an early season flogging resolves a team, hopefully this applies to the Jets and Bushrangers who copped mighty floggings today.

Yes I saw the game, got there 5 minutes in and the Jets kicking with the wind were up 3 goals. The next 25 minutes the Jets continually looked to attack around the road side and ended up at quarter time a couple points down.

Chargers attacked the bayside and kicked 9 goals in the 2nd quarter and the game was over.

Thought Sullivan played well in the ruck and Black was good in the 2nd half. Dimartina at CHF took 4 or 5 strong marks.

Jets would have been happy with a number of young age players who performed well, unfair to name them as they were only playing their first game and no need to put pressure on them.

The Jets definitely need to inject more pace and another strong marking target up forward. The disposal of some of the boys coming out of the backline was very poor, if you want to play at a high level nowadays you must be able to kick the ball.

The Chargers really are a well disciplined team, very quick and good skills.

Finally it is still a mystery to me why Jets coach instructed the boys to attack around the roadside in the 3rd quarter after watching Chargers kick 9 goals attacking the opposite side of the ground in the 2nd quarter. Chargers were awake to it and were more than happy to bottle up play.
