Which players from the jets could go in the draft / get a rookie contract?

Mitchell Banner is an obvious one but interesting to know some more.

he did this several times when i was playing with him since under 11's
i heard that notman was offered to train at collingwood and has also been asked to play at werribee.
i hope that he gets picked up

As do I, he is a nice kid.

I think we wish everyone good luck for the draft regardless of who they are and where they play, but hopefully for the Jets they can first of all have a really good finals series and secondly get two, three or four guys into the AFL system next year.

They haven't had two players picked in the same national draft since 1999 and they've only had six players drafted this decade so its been thin for them as a club. The thing with the Jets this year is again they've probably got a batch of half a dozen 'maybes' but lack 'sure things' for this draft.

As I said, hopefully they can win a final or two and they're guys can perform on the big stage.

You're dead right with their maybes. Apart from Banner they've got a few guys that might go, but no one else really locked. Mind you, I don't consider Banner as much a lock as others do. I'm about 80% confident that he'll go - probably around the range that Mitch Farmer went last year.

I quite like Jayden Post.

There are a few guys that stand out for me. Mitch banner, Matthew Notman, Jayden Post and Scott Sherlock, these guys have worked really hard this year and have had great seasons and deserve to be either drafted or rookie listed.

Carroll very good player when his up and going good for him to be going to draft camp after not getting a pre-season at calder.
post- very strong overhead as is shown with leading league contested marks
Banner- ball magnet
Notman- good played good disposal wouldn't be surprised if he got rookied.

I like a few off there bottom agers fortune, hollaron, morris, tighe any thoughts on them?

saw my first jets games when they played bendigo and although they were flat the whole first half, i thought they recovered and played a really good second half. just wondering any1s thoughts on a few second yrs i thought played well ex: haby, robbins, sims....... any of these boys a chance of gettin rookied atleast??? or getting a third yr in the over age 19yr olds??
