ok, so Hoppers should have some serious coin to throw around being a club who has gaming facilities (as opposed to most others who don't)....what would they be willing to pay for a coach? And what should an divy 1 coach get - regardless of what they could get in other leagues- talking about WRFL Div 1 here.......I'm tipping the difference is far and wide btwn alot of the clubs. How much value do clubs put into their coach? Or maybe they paid the big bucks this year for little return???

I have heard whispers that hoppers are looking for a coach. Best coach in werribee area is Kirk norton. What Kirk has achieved at werribee is exactly what every club would want. That poster also has good info from werribee ammos and does not usually post in this forum, so I believe he knows that someone from hoppers has been sniffing around!
All those blokes you mentioned would be good coaches too, and I'm
sure if hoppers are looking for a new coach, they will be on their radars.
if Jockstrap were to coach Hoppers, he would be swallowing a fair bit of humble pie....his distaste for HCFC would rival the likes of Rayzor18.....
when it comes to hoppers coaching role they should do what the best club of the last 4 years have done, and appoint a player, former player that is close to the playing group. they should have done it this year, as they certainly wouldnt have had the exodus of talent that has been widely talked about on here.
Adam Taylor should have been made coach on Frosty's departure, and David Mitchell should now be appointed. better yet, get Taylor to be sideline / assistant coach with Mitch....

Some of you blokes are dreaming Kirk Norton would not leave Werribee.Hoppers should go for Rob Smith and Keenan both these blokes are what is needed at Hoppers. Mitchells not ready and Taylor is in Geelong .With so many players leaving the list last year at Hoppers all they need is a little hard work and they will be up and about again

I think Mitch will be great as coach, give him a year to find his feet and have some good support around him and he will be very successfull. Mitch has a great football brain and commands respect from the group, I think it will also open the door for some if the boys to head back to
the club. Will be a great move by Hoppers.
Actually Shannon, I am torn between my red hair for Julia, and my extreme uglyness for Tony....decisions decisions. what about you? going for the Gay Pride Greens i suppose??
Mitchell appointed last night i heard, along with the signatures of 90% of the contracted players from this year.
add in a few recruits back to the club, and HCFC will be back playing september 2011.
they will need some luck though, Spotty look to continue dominating for years to come.

it will probably look like im jumping on an already full bandwagon, but for what its worth, good luck to Chopper and the boys at SFC. from player 1 through to 44, they are a tight unit that work hard and play for each other, and they deserve every accolade this year, Seniors and Reserves.

On the money Biz, Mitchell appointed last night and is a fantastic choice. When he spoke this year all eyes where on him and as Tige19 said commands respect. Also 25 players that played 1's footy this year signed after this announcement, shows Mitch has the overwhelming support of the playing group.
I'm sure Mitch will be working on getting some of the players who moved on after 2009, so good start for the Warriors.
Tige19 will you be making a come back after your finals tilt in Coolowarrupingong 2's?

Sorry mate, but it is that dull. Spotty are too good. Nobody wants a crack at them. No one can beat them, it's like presentation nights, boring ad bat shit when formalities are going on. Well this seasons finals are a mere formality and everyone is just waiting for it to be done to let the partying begin!
Maybe Spotty should consider a move over to the edfl where I think they would rank about 6th
