Re: WRFL Div. 2 Season 2008 and Beyond Part 4
Not sure i agree totally but Parkside needs some leg speed in the midfield thats for sure and there whole team is gulity of being unaccountable for there dirrect oppenent thats been a parside trait for many years that they think there that better than there direct opponenent.
Summers is a star and i am very suprised Nathan played on him in the GF. Oh well time to move on two next year. I dont think just cause Nathan won the league Medal means he is automatic for team of the year starting on baller.
The facts are that the league medal is voted by umpires who lets be honest half the time struggle to umpire anywhere near a decent standard let alone be capable of giving accurate voting on matches.
Davis 4 votes? Robo from Deer Park should of been top 3. Willis Yarra should of been top 5. Endres Should of been top 3. These guys combined together didnt have enough votes to beat Nathan which is an absoulte joke.
My team of the year Midfield is based on these stats and facts and thats why i had Nathan on the pine as these players has much better seasons.
Andre Wills 13 games 36 goals disposal from Midfield. Absoulte champion and best Midfielder in comp hands down and Stats dont lie. He would of kicked 50 goals form midfield had he played all year.
Chris Endres 17 games 23 goals disposal sensational and full of run, very evasive and is all class with football.
Chris Robertson 19 games 33 goals. Looks a little overweight but dont be fooled buy this. Best Clerance player in comp and his stats say everything.
Nathan Jeugean 18 games 17 goals. A possesion machine who uses ball well but dosent have the same run and carry with the football as the other 3 also not as good at the clerances as the other 3 tends to get alot of handball recives.
These 4 would be in my opinion the 4 best midfielders this year and thats why i had Nathan on my bench as the 3 others have been simply better players this season in my opinion.
juegan is a proven downhill skier getting it is one thing, using it is another just like in the big one when it counts he would of had about 15 pos that went nowhere and his man had 46 pos and won the medal for a BOG which stood out like dogs balls if your getting cut up like he was you have make a decision man up or swallow your pride and move yourself out of the middle which he never done
