The league is a joke! Since round 5 the U19 comp has only had 5 teams & unfortunately, Point Cook have lost every game by over 100points. Well done on the boys turning up each week but to have a final 5 is ridiculous and to put the boys through this is an embarrassment, just so they can have a game round 1 of finals. If you actually go by the ladder on the website, Point Cook ended up 7th & Spotswood 5th, even though they haven't played a game since round 5.

We agree! Just need someone to knock them off this finals series.
In this league, it's more about U17s keeping the younger players out of U18s/19s. Reverting that competition back to U16s should help.

Reserves will face a stacked CS
U19's only have Hoppers to contend with
All in all I'd be relatively satisfied with where they are at and the realistic chances each side has.
I actually think they are the best chance of stopping Deer Park FWIW.

But a few weeks ago Altona were in big trouble because the “president had walked out”? Leo you have no idea to be honest... also still hearing kreatiuk big chance to be at St. Albans next year
So you are saying you have enough players for an u16 division and an u18 or u19 (19.5) division.
Most comps have the u16 or u17 division and after that, that is where it goes a miss. One option could be to have an u17 division and then make the next division an u 20's or u21's. Those that can make seniors or reserves can play those but it leaves more to the void.

Hey Bont, Crush staying at Hoppers buddy that’s a done deal. I’m thinking they will try hard to get McGuane across and maybe his due for a change. I’m hearing another name as well from the EDFL and it’s not Wallis.

Thought I'd give my thoughts;
Deer Park v Hoppers;
Hoppers have good depth in key positions & Endres is a very good mid (big chance Priest Medal) but question ability to kick a winning score in a final. Deer Park is deep in quality especially in midfield, but have a backline that can be exposed. I think Stewart will play more time in the ruck & give first use which is important. I think Deer Park to run away with this by 44 points.
Spotswood v Werribee Districts;
Think last week meant nothing & both these teams would have focused primarily to this game. Both very even teams & if Panayi & Sullivan come back in this will be important to the result. Spotswood are a young side & I'm going to think Werribee will have a touch more depth of quality, so tipping Werribee by 8 points in what should be a good game.

How did Deer Park look today??
Deer park look old and slow to be honest... how condos gets a game is beyond me, ismail and bower out before half time and lost knight in the warm up... if them 3 don’t get up Altona start favourites I would say.
Bloody good if stewie doesn't win comp medal it will be a joke , give you all a tip 7 in a row on cards the cannon signed to join his brothers
