Big weekend for local footy. My club looking to beat the Deer Park same Aberfeldie Saturday.

Must admit though Deer Park touched us up by 20 goals in a practice match and looked the best local team I have ever seen. Can anyone see them get beat? Sure we all hope money bags and his merry men are put to the sword. Rumour in our comp Deer Park already secured three massive names next year and the inner sanctum are thriving and seeking to create a history never seen before

Go Craig , two in a row for the great coach

ill give my thoughts on how to dethrown the 3023 jugenaught......

a little later!!!

Haha.

The worst part about what money can do in Suburban football is falsely inflate the reputation of a coach.
Marc Bullen is a dual premiership coach !!! Give us a spell !!! Could not coach Auskick.

Yeah well heard him speaking to his side at one game and they were under the pump.
He said something like "it's your work under pressure, that's why I brought you here"
Umm no mate, the open cheque book brought them to you.
Oh well, let them enjoy it while they can.
Another season like this one and people will stop giving a **** come finals time.

Shock and roar as Deer Park completes undefeated season - http://bit.ly/1s1Gq7s
In all fairness, if I was forking out the cash I'd want the boys to put in the extra yards too.
We'd all be super impressed if the same had have been done with a list like Altona's this year. Young and competitive without the super stars.
Bullen is kidding himself and nobody else.

Was at Northern League Div 2 GF on Saturday watching North Heidelberg & heard that both Chris Stewart & Josh Jones to leave Deer Park & return to the Doggies subject to winning promotion back to Div 1.

Won by 6 goals & have a healthy bank balance so could be a possibility.

it is because he is going up to NT in the off season id suggest after looking at destination.

I see yarraville seddon struggles again in their second year in div 1, a mate of mine was assistant coach there this season (no 4) nick Avery. Comes from ballarat way, interested to know how he went the last couple of years there?

Revolving door at Deer Park commences today with Brent Guerra to be announced Captain/Coach of Chelsea with a swag of team mates to follow him including Kwame McHarg !!!!!

Chelsea must have some money..Melton South spoke to Guerra - starting price $50K to captain coach.

Great win by club in a close one. Just finished sobering myself up . See moneybags team scooped the pool , Heads up no matter what they spent , Abbers did the same and didn't win it. Deer Park must have selected well although WRFL region an inferior comp to ours.
Done write moneybags club off , I know for a fact they finished with plenty in reserve and will have another 2 to 3 top liners from AFL join them being teammates of current AFL players on their list. Im told the list will be improved , so all the best to others in WRFL.
My club now wants back to back !

Brent Guerra appointed Senior Coach

2013 Hawthorn Premiership Player Brent Guerra is Chelsea Football Clubs new Senior Coach. The former Hawthorn defender, after playing in the Hawks’ 2013 flag and in Deer Park’s grand final win last week, signed with the Seagulls on Thursday night and will be playing-coach in 2015.

Having won only six of its past 50 games and being at the foot of the ladder for several seasons, THe Club see's Guerra as the man to guide the Seagulls back to their former glory. We needed to excite the joint, we’ve sort of been treading water for a while so we needed to get the members and the public a bit excited,” Chelsea president-in-waiting Richard Howlett said.“I think it’s made a big impact already, he should be good for the club.”

It’s understood Guerra will bring some quality players with him to Chelsea.“There are a couple of people in the wings but nothing signed sealed and delivered yet,” Howlett said.“There’s one big name maybe, hopefully we can get that over the line.”

Guerra played 255 AFL games with three clubs — Port Adelaide, St Kilda and Hawthorn — over 14 seasons. He was a member of the Hawks’ premiership-winning sides in 2008 and 2013, and notched up his 250th AFL game in Round 19 2013. He was renowned as one of the league’s elite kicks.

The Club is delighted to have obtained Bren't signature and looks forward with anticipation to season 2015.

Any more news on the recruiting front? I think we can assume that Deer Park will experience a reasonable exodus, Cloke and a couple of others are on their way to a club near Ballarat in the central highlands...If Parkside really do have money bags jumping across, who have they recruited so far?

Can someone confirm If condos is to coach Parkside. If so you would think some of his closest friends will follow suit?

North Heidelberg certainly do not have a healthy bank balance, they are just like 90% of the teams out there that scrape together what they can to attract players, they definitely wont be able to come up with the $$$ that stewart and jones would be asking.
