Could be a very big week if rumours are true regarding Deer Park and the salary cap. Not sure where the 3 games rumour has come from but if true seems a little orchestrated to wait until there's only 3 games left in the season which would most likely see Deer Park miss finals by 1 win.

I'm interested in exactly what they got them on.

It's hard to Make a judgement on specific penalties when the crime is unclear!

If they are over salary, it should be transparent how much and how it has happened. Because if it's blatant rorting, 3 games in isolation is a wet lettuce penalty.

I know 3 games has significant implications this season, but that is very minor, unless there's been a admin error. Which I am almost sure the WRFL will dress it up as.

If this is correct. And I very much doubt it, then it may actually be a stroke of genius.
Leave it till the end of the season then hit them with a three game penalty. They miss finals, but the players have done there part of fulfilling the seasons contract so DP must pay them. For nil result. I would see this as an underhanded way of delivering a fine of $250-$300k. Now I’m sure this is not going to happen as no-one in the league would have the brains to think off that. If you did it early in the season, and a $50k fine and say 6 game loss of points. Clearances would have come flying in saving DP money. I love it if true.

I think you'll find in every league the top 2-3 sides generally pay the most in player payments. This has been the case for the past 20-30 years so why is it such a huge talking point now that there is a salary cap? It's been suggested some clubs in the top 5 only pay half of the salary cap because they don't have the money. Clubs pay what they can afford whether that is overs or unders for some players but who cares, it's their money and can spend it how they like within the cap. If you want to accuse clubs of cheating start focusing on those proven guilty of this by fudging player points and start beating your chest about those who have been proven guilty yet the league dust it off like it was nothing.

Why would anyone include the word “if” in any discussion ? I know the topic has been done to death but it will continue to be talked about whilst these people get away with it . They will be caught eventually. Anyone who has a modicum of intel knows. Accusations are when you accuse one of something current and past players At DP have spoken on what they get so no accusations required.

It’s not there fault it’s those who have allowed this club to become the puns of all jokes yeah no great destination club with great success but one thst is walking the tight rope over the Grand Canyon.

Your correct if there getting you to sign one thing paying another and your accepting it. Believe if you get caught those involved should be banned from being involved in any footy and players banned 2 years
