At present I'm still in top spot about 14 million ahead of second, and 17ish million ahead of third. Then 20+ million ahead of the rest. I'm only this way because of cup week :p. I'd be 40ish million behind (around 8th-15th on the leaderboards) if not for that.

At my peak I was 45 million clear of second spot and nearly 50 million ahead of third. But from today my lead should shrink and I'll probably lose by 15-25ish million myself - 2nd spot was just 40 million behind now. To keep ahead I'd have to still get 20-25 million a day... will be lucky to get 10.

I'm starting to get recycled/repeated events that I've already got a solid score on (although I did do a few that improved my overall score by 50-150,000 each time.

Slay the Spire.

Cleared ascension 1 with ironclad now.

Still yet to clear base level with the robot (who I can't get the hang of) and the watcher (who I've had some good runs with but seem to get wiped in a single elite/boss when I can't get a good draw on stance changing cards).

iirc an easy way to get a win on the defect is to stack your deck with frost orbs and just chain cast them using multi-cast etc. gives a lot of block, then grab things like leap, claw, scrape etc

Another few runs with The Watcher last night. Can always go pretty deep with her?/him? but seem to just get wiped from basically full health in one elite/boss fight. Super fun character to play but a bit frustrating losing that way

I've been playing her lately too. Awesome character.

I love this card:

It has won me a few Ascension runs but also cost me at times too.

Divinity is so OP.

Yeah that card rules. Need to make sure your math is good though, and you don't forget about any debuffs haha.

Also love this card; could the be the best card I've come across so far:

I find myself going for builds that let me get heaps of repeat attacks. So using Flurry of Blows with The Watcher or Anger with Ironclad. Maybe these builds don't scale very well which could be where I'm falling down sometimes.

tough to play at the start, need to have both a calm/fury trigger in hand so you don't get two shot.

You shouldn't go into wrath mode when the enemy is attacking or unless you have a plan to get out of it.

I also found upgrading this card early, to make it from 2 energy to 1 energy, is a huge advantage:

I've never googled strategies for Slay the Spire. Love figuring shit out on my own.

Really been enjoying the COD campaign and zombies mode.
Multiplayer completely sucks as usual though.

Has anyone played Predator Hunting Grounds? I notice it’s now out on Xbox “remastered” the concept to me looks cool and bit fan of the movies so I’m kinda wanting to try it but kinda feel that it might suck that it’s all relying on playing in squads. It’s only $30 so might be worth a try.

Loaded up Watch Dogs 2 last night. Not as clean as I remember, but I'm sure it'll still be good fun.
Good game.

Still liked 1 the most though. 3 was a piece of shit (even if it was very visibly pleasing)

Fired up GTA3 with the latest patch to the definitive edition. Just did a quick mission and hooned around for a bit. Amazing how small the city is. I've barely played it because I was holding out for more patches, so still on the first island working for the Mafia.

Such a mind-blowing game when I played it at launch on the PS2 (still own the banned in Australia version that was pulled from shelves) and I can still feel the magic. Was pretty much all word of mouth hype back then too. Wild to think of where the series has gone from the old top down original to the records that VI with smash.

It revolutionised the gaming industry.

I played for four hours straight the day I got it. Incredible.

Each GTA has been an improvement on the previous - except GTA V
GTA V, for all it's awards and sales wasn't an improvement on IV. IV had a better storyline, better characters, and I preferred Liberty City over Los Santos. I also preferred the car-handling.

I have played and finished GTA IV many, many times. I have only finished GTA V twice, and I walk away feeling it's underwhelming. Trevor was the only character with any personality, but I still preferred Niko's background and outlook. He goes from rags to slightly better rags, but loses something in the process.

Agree with everything here.

GTA 4 = The Godfather
GTA 5 = Lethal Weapon

GTA IV's physics are still unmatched to this day as well imo.

Apart from the first two, which I never owned, 4 would be the GTA I've played the least.

And that includes Liberty City and Vice City Stories on PSP.

Actually, I probably played Chinatown Wars less than 4.

Just a time in my life where gaming had to take a backseat even more so than it is now, and never went back to it.

I don't think it's BC on Xbox either?
