Disco Elysium was $18 on xbox so I've started that today
one of my favourite games. it uses the space of the world excellently and is a pretty fascinating exploration of how ideology affects one's own morals.

I've only had about 20 minutes with it so far so I'm still short a shoe

been playing cyberpunk (on something that can run it) for the first time since it launched, and man, they've done so much to improve it, very excellent game.

have been playing through the phantom pain and like... it's okay?
i really dislike the main story with songbird, it felt very contrived and cliche, as well as being very predictable in how it ended, and while dogtown as an area was fantastic and had a unique history, i just don't think it was particularly interesting? idk. it didn't click for me. the performances, however, of the main cast were excellent. while i had had it partially spoiled through casually reading stuff, i ultimately expected the ending of songbird being truly selfish - highlighted it early in the story by never being straight with you. it is, however, good that they repurposed mr hands into being this sly, powerful underworld dog instead of being a... unfortunate reference to something gross.

Purchased it maybe a month and a bit ago, I've played about 6 hours.... barely done any story progress.

Blasphemy!!!

I'll get stuck into it properly soon, but I have only done a few things outside of the tutorial. Like many other games (Yakuza, BG 3) I need to just focus on one at a time instead of rotating them.

Didn't rate phantom pain at all. Gave up on it not far in.

Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time ever and... I am obsessed. Holy shit what a game.

I've sunk 32 hours into it in an unholy short amount of days. No idea why its taken me this long to get to it but then again I guess getting into it after its been fixed up so much isn't a bad thing.

For me I've played it a lot while doing so little, I just like how it is visually. The right mix of graphics!

Unbelievable looking game, and I'm only using basic ray tracing (AMD GPU).

It's extremely satisfying to race through streets on motorbikes in first person mode too.

I played through it at launch on PC and had no real issues, nothing like the console players, just the odd T pose. Will definitely play it again when I get my new PC and can crank up the settings.

I wanted to love Cyberpunk but I just couldn’t, still a good game, but it just didn’t grab me like I hoped it would.

A new game I just grabbed and have been playing with friends is LOTR: Return to Moria, as a big LOTR fan I’m loving this, a well made craft/survival game.
