any love out there for the US version of the Office? i was a huge fan of the UK one, and initially appalled to hear they were turning it into a franchise - but the after four or so episodes i was hooked. one of the funniest shows i've seen, and dare i say it, just as good as the UK one.

nah haven't seen Mind of a Married Man, but just read about it and sounds good and will check it out.
how much of the US office have you seen? first 2-3 episodes of the 1st season was one the worst things i've ever seen. but def one that rewards you if you stick at it. the trick is that it's a completely different show to the UK one - whereas the first few episodes were a direct copy.

More homicide. Great seeing tv actually shot film rather than video.

Whatever you do don't watch homicide the movie until last!

its terrific, great acting, great storyline. Inspired the best Aussie drama, 'Wildside'.

yep, big fan of both. much like you i stated out being annoyed at the US version but it grew on me to the point i might have even enjoyed watching it more than the original.

although i didn't see every episode, the few that i saw of 'extras' were good and one of them in particular had me in stitches.

Yep, loving it guys. Many thanks.

The whole production is very brave - the writing, stylistically with the rough editing, grainy stock and hand-held shots. It's awesome.

I loved the original office. Not a fan of the US version.

Bit like Little Britain - the series set in the US isn't as good. First one had me freakin' on the floor.

Hahahahahahahahaha

Anyone else watching the dreadful gladiator mini series on Go?

It's very funny. Wooden actors with British accents pretending to be Romans mincing around a carboard set.

saw it while flicking channels, absolutely stupid

I've just finished season 1 and 2 of Homicide Life on the Streets - it's good tv. Hasn't the dude who plays Munch carved out a niche for himself? Extraordinary. A franchise in itself.

I've been watching more West Memphis Three docos this morning.
Specifically a '48 hours' episode.

It still astounds me that these guys are in prison for something that there is no evidence of them doing.

Last night pulled out Bumfights, very contreversial and was banned, I can tell you Australian Customs were trying to fine me $100,000 for 'importing' these.

Today have been watching one of my Favourite shows ever:
"MILLENIUM"

Can't believe this show got cancelled after 3 season, anyone else into it?

After another exhausting night trying to put the kids to sleep last night(don't know where they get the energy from), sat down with the missus and watched a movie called "The Good Life"-2007 strange and yet a soul searching movie about a young guy living in a mid-west town of Nebraska and feeling alienated, my wife thought it was a weird movie, but i liked the twists it provided....worth watching.

For fans of US TV, its dowloading season, summer's pver in the states and the good shows are starting again.
