I've been entertained watching the series of videos from the "Song Around The World" which is part of the Playing For Change movement to connect people around the world through music. I you haven't seen these they consist of many musician from around the world playing a popular song. Some songs have really well known musicians mixed with unknown but great and singers you will never have heard of. Other songs have artists from different countries and although you won't have heard of them they are all terrific. To give you an idea of what they are like I have linked in 3 videos. Hope you enjoy them.

I just love this song. Originally I thought this was about a boy singing about a lost love, but it hasn't go anything to do with that. He's said it's about himself and getting old.

It's Dutch but it deals with stories behind the songs.
Not all of them work but when they do....they're quite something.

These two are my favourites for now. Love Marillion and Fish when they were up and about. Brilliant live band.
