Time to indulge myself and pump up my own tyres a bit. In 1989 a guy named Eryc from Phoenix Arizona spent a year in Adelaide as an exchange student at Blackwood High School. Through a mutual friend in Adelaide he'd been corresponding with, Eryc and i became friends and hung out a lot that year.
To cut it short fast forward to the mid 90's. I was in a band and we would often record rehearsals on cassette and i subsequently mailed him a copy of one of those rehearsals.
Fast forward a few more years, he's playing guitar in a band called Speak 714 with Orange County straight edge hardcore legend Dan O'Mahoney, and i receive a copy of a record they've released on Revelation Records. Lo and behold, contained therein is this song, with the exact same main guitar riff as a song my band did that was on the rehersal cassette i'd sent him years earlier. Identical.

So i guess that's a rather long way for me to try and say, i wrote this song
