Once upon a time (almost 20 years ago now) I used to live in the Melbourne CBD and walking around Melbourne on a Saturday morning (particularly up near Russell Street between Lt Bourke and Bourke Street), you'd see people come out of the all-night raves wearing pretty much the same gear as the women in this clip.

Tito and Tarantula, first heard this on Dusk til Dawn, they were the house band in the whorehouse.

Robert Rodriguez worked with Tito and Tarantula on Desperado (Tarantino played a minor character in the movie). The lead singer, Tito Larriva, was the minor villain in Desperado, actually, and they contributed two songs to the soundtrack, Strange Face of Love and Back to the House that Love Built.

can't be assed censoring the terrifier breasts but this has been what i've listened to for the past week

some highlights this week are Soichi Terada - Sounds From the Far East. This is an exploratory compilation of a lot of the different jungle/house music coming from eastern asia. While a bit repetitive it's a good exploration into a different interpretation of those genres.

London Calling is a classic, nothing much more to say about it really, but damn is it good.

Filth by Swans is probably my favourite though. it's a great listen and really worth the time you invest into it. Would recommend
