paradise lost, obsidian in the car. solid but not great album, some of the album's mid-paced parts are a bit awkward to my ear.




circle of dust. you can hear the christianity in some of the lyrics come through. prefer this 4 minute version to the gazillion other remixes.

Ghostown sophomore album from Radiators (the Irish one, there were a few Radiators around that time). Future Pogues guitarist Chevron on vocals (original singer on their debut went on to coin U2’s band name and design their sleeves). Produced by Visconti. Pretty awesome stuff, apparently Ireland’s first notable punk band. Listened to it five times on loop this arvo.

Saw this is being re-issued on vinyl $$$. Wish I could have it because I've always liked the cover art but I'll have to stick to the cheap CD version. A favourite post-Television, Tom Verlaine song.
